Child and Youth Refugee Research Coalition Call

funding opportunity image

The Child and Youth Refugee Research Coalition recognizes that refugee children, youth and families may experience impacts of the current COVID-19 pandemic in unique ways, and that refugees may be especially vulnerable to the financial, social, and health strains associated with this pandemic. Service providers and community based organizations are also encountering challenges and innovating solutions as they adapt service delivery models to respond to clients’ needs during this time. The challenges which these organizations are facing, as well as the solutions they are adopting, offer a rich knowledge base to inform best practices for future policy and programming. CYRRC believes that timely research into these issues is crucial.

They are announcing a Call for Proposals (or https://cyrrc.org/cfp-info/) on research related to:
The impacts of COVID-19 on refugee children, youth and families in Canada
The impacts of COVID-19 on newcomer serving SPOs in Canada

CYRRC research grants typically range from $10,000-$20,000. Higher amounts may be considered.
