[Funding] Climate Change and Health Capacity Building Program: HeatADAPT

Health Canada is currently accepting funding applications related to the following priorities:

  • Indoor heat
  • This priority aims to:
  • reduce the health impacts of indoor heat by devising practical heat interventions, particularly for at-risk groups
  • Prepare and adapt to extreme heat
  • This priority aims to:
  • enhance community, regional or provincial / territorial public health capacity to reduce health impacts from extreme heat, including developing and enhancing heat preparedness, alert and response actions
  • better understand the health risks of extreme heat, including through syndromic surveillance
