[Funding] Climate Change and Health Capacity Building Program: HeatADAPT
Health Canada is currently accepting funding applications related to the following priorities:
- Indoor heat
- This priority aims to:
- reduce the health impacts of indoor heat by devising practical heat interventions, particularly for at-risk groups
- Prepare and adapt to extreme heat
- This priority aims to:
- enhance community, regional or provincial / territorial public health capacity to reduce health impacts from extreme heat, including developing and enhancing heat preparedness, alert and response actions
- better understand the health risks of extreme heat, including through syndromic surveillance
