[Resource Classroom] Volunteer Position Description Guide
We are excited to be launching The Resource Classroom, an online gathering to share capacity building opportunities for CBSS organizations in a workshop setting. The intent of this initiative is to share tools to assist with capacity at your organization. Sessions will be hosted by Ian Chian, CVA – Capacity Building Specialist at United Way BC.
On Oct 30, 2025, we will be showcasing and sharing the Volunteer Position Description Guide – a tool to help develop clear and effective volunteer position descriptions for CBSS programs and how to use position descriptions for volunteer recruitment.
This session is best attended by staff who work directly with volunteers. The session is structured to be hands on, as we lead participants through the guide. Participants will be given time to work through the tool and ask questions as they create or revise a volunteer position description.
