The Surrey Intercultural Seniors Social Inclusion Partnership (SISSIP) Network Project is a Collective Impact Initiative that aims to address barriers to social inclusion and engagement for seniors 55+, to make Surrey a more interculturally inclusive and engaged community.
The Network consists of six organizations: the Backbone Organization, Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) and five Collaborating Organizations, the City of Surrey, Brella Community Services Society, SOURCES, UNITI and Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association (FRAFCA).
The project supports:
- Seniors 55+
- Differently Abled Seniors
- Immigrant Seniors
- Indigenous Seniors
- LGBTQ2+
- Seniors with Addictions and Homelessness
Programs Offered: Connecting Generations, Seniors HUB, Surrey Shares, Seniors Centre Without Walls, Seniors Engagement Through Technology, WALKit, Promoting Inclusion for Indigenous Elders
