news image

Survey Overview

The Ministry of Health (the Ministry) is developing a strategy to support frailty prevention and reduction among community-dwelling adults aged 50 years and older in British Columbia.

The Ministry has engaged MNP LLP (MNP), an independent consulting firm, to support consultation with organizations who serve older adults as well as individuals with an understanding of frailty. This online survey is an important component of the consultation.

The purpose of the survey is to gain perspectives on:

  • Current barriers to aging in the right place
  • Meaningful actions to prevent and reduce frailty (e.g. policies, services, programs)

It includes both open and closed-ended questions and will take 15 to 20 minutes to completeThe survey closes at 4:00 pm (PST) on Friday, December 1, 2023.

The target audience of this survey is organizations who serve older adults as well as individuals with an understanding of frailty. It is not intended for older adults themselves.

Your participation in the survey is voluntary. We encourage you to share the survey link with others in your organization to ensure responses provide a variety of perspectives, including geographic and local contexts.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Jane Piasecki, MNP at jane.piasecki@mnp.ca
