[Research Opportunity] Caring for Older People Living with HIV in LTC/AL - Research study participation

Older Adults with HIV/AIDS

The Fraser Health Authority’s Long-Term Care and Assisted Living (LTCAL) Research Unit is seeking participation in a CIHR-funded research study: Caring for Older People Living with HIV in LTCAL in BC’s Fraser Health Region - Building a Partnered Research Agenda With Stakeholder Communities. We are exploring opportunities to strengthen care and support for older people living with HIV/AIDS in LTCAL. Your participation will consist of a 45-minute interview with a focus on issues and opportunities at the intersection of aging and HIV positivity, stigma and marginalization, the HIV+ community and more.


Participants will receive a $50 e-gift card. We are looking for research participants that fit one of the following groups: 

1. LTC physicians, 2. LTC administrators, 3. Front-line care providers, 4. Residents & family caregivers, 5. Older people in FH, 6. The HIV/AIDS community in BC
