Seniors Advocate Visits North West B.C.

BC Seniors Advocate Isobel Mackenzie will be visiting communities in northern B.C. from May 1 to 5, 2023. Join her to discuss seniors’ issues at town halls in Vanderhoof, Burns Lake, Smithers, Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert.

Seniors, their loved ones and others who live in north-western B.C. are invited to share what is working and not working for seniors in their communities. Ms. Mackenzie will also speak about the role of the Office of the Seniors Advocate and current issues that affect B.C. seniors.

May 1, 2023

  • 1-3 p.m. – Nechako Friendship Centre, 219 Victoria St., Vanderhoof

May 2, 2023

  • 1-3 p.m. – Immaculata Parish, 248 3rd Avenue, Burns Lake

May 3, 2023

  • 1-3 p.m. – Smithers Senior Citizens Association, 4018 Mountainview Dr., Smithers

May 4, 2023

  • 10 a.m.-Noon – Seniors Corner, Skeena Mall #137-4741 Lakelse Ave., Terrace
  • 1:30-3:30 p.m. – The Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 250, 665 Legion Road, Kitimat

May 5, 2023
