United Way BC Social Enterprise explores innovative ways to expand upon the United Way BC mission. One of those ways is by exploring a potential new social enterprise. In order to develop new products and services ideas for seniors in British Columbia, it is important that we hear from seniors and their caregivers to better understand the needs, experiences, and desires of this population.

We are hosting three focus group sessions to hear directly from seniors and caregivers. These focus groups will allow us to gather important feedback on what seniors and caregivers need most, and how United Way British Columbia can develop solutions to meet these needs.

Volunteer Requirements:

• This position is only available to Seniors (65+) and their caregivers. 
• Must be comfortable joining and sharing via Zoom
• As this is a research activity, participants will have be selected based on a certain demographic criteria before confirmed for their shift.
• Volunteers who sign up will be contacted directly to confirm criteria for the role.
• Groups may be rescheduled if minimum participation is not met.

What you will be doing:

• Join online hosted focus group via Zoom - 90 minutes (Zoom link will be shared with confirmed participants)
• Share insights and experiences by answering questions from the group moderator.
• No preparation needed.
