National Online Adult Literacy Program “NOAL”, a new online learning opportunity through United for Literacy.

This winter, we are excited to offer a bi-weekly digital literacy workshop series for older adult and senior learners, designed to explore new, supportive digital tools in a welcoming, low-pressure learning environment.

I’m pleased to introduce Jake Zaslav, the Founder of the Engaging Reader, a new digital reading and engagement tool developed in partnership with Concordia University’s EngAGE, Centre for Research on Aging. The workshops will be facilitated live by Jake Zaslav and give learners hands-on experience with the tool along with developing important computer skills they can utilize in everyday life.
