[Support Group] Caregivers Connect: Mindfulness for Caregiving

program image

Mindfulness could be characterized as a practice, an art, a way of being, a way of life. The challenges of caregiving can cause a great degree of stress that is often detrimental to our health and well being. Mindfulness has been proven to be a very effective tool for navigating stress, grief, and trauma. In our Mindfulness Caregiver Support Group we will learn how to focus our awareness on our breath, while acknowledging our emotions, thoughts, and bodily sensations, in an effort to lower our stress response, and ground in the present moment. Join us for the facilitated practice, led by Kensington Case Manger, Rami Shami.

This session takes place the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
