[BC-Wide] CREA Capacity Building Grant

British Columbia Council to Reduce Elder Abuse (CREA) Capacity Building Grants 2026-2027

Applications will be accepted from all provincial and community-based organizations to develop new, or enhance existing, elder abuse action projects in the areas of Awareness Building and Financial Abuse.

Projects must support at least one of the following specific populations (not in order of priority):

• Caregivers

• Housing insecure seniors

• Immigrant or refugee seniors

• Indigenous seniors

• LGBTQIA+ seniors

• Racialized seniors

• Seniors in rural/remote areas

• Emerging issues – identification of another area will be considered by the working group

Funding Amount

$80,000 will be distributed through this funding call. Funding requests can range from $10,000 to 20,000 for individual proposals and up to $40,000 for collaborative projects. Priority may be given to collaborative projects.
