The Community Business Project (CBP) connects organizations with teams of bright, motivated UBC Master of Management (MM) students who deliver tailored, high-impact consulting at no cost.
About The UBC MM Program
Since 2011, over 100 local organizations have partnered with us, and many return year after year for the value our students bring.The UBC Master of Management program equips recent university grads from non-business disciplines with Master's-level business training in:
- Finance
- Marketing
- Organizational Behaviour
- Project Management
Through the CBP, MM students apply their skills and knowledge to real-world business problems to deliver innovative, actionable solutions for community organizations like yours.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from:
- Charities and non-profits
- Social enterprises and environmentally focused businesses
- Start-ups with community impact initiatives
- Corporations with CSR or social venture projects
How Student Teams Can Help:
Your consulting team can support projects such as:
- Corporate partnership strategies
- Fundraising and development
- Marketing and communications campaigns
- New product or service development
- Recruitment and retention strategies
