news image

On April 25, 2025, BC’s Ministry of Health announced a five-year agreement with United Way BC to support seniors to age at home, in community, by improving and expanding Healthy Aging programs and services in BC! This ongoing, sustained investment recognizes and bolsters the work of the Community-Based Seniors' Services (CBSS) sector and ensures seniors and Elders in BC can remain active, connected, engaged, and independent for as long as possible.

Healthy Aging is deeply committed to supporting communities in this work, and would like to thank our funded organizations, collaborative partners, staff, volunteers, and the Province of BC for strengthening the sector and continuing to support the wellness of older adults in our province.

Please see the official announcement here: More, better home-care supports coming for B.C. seniors.
