Why do we need a day of recognition?

Frontline Champions are the employees who help people through some of the direst of circumstances to create experiences that spark joy and happiness. There are 2.4 million people who work in Canada’s nonprofit sector. Most, if not all of us, know someone who has benefited from their work.

It’s time for a National Day of Recognition!

The National Organizations that are advocating for the National Day include the following organizations: Imagine Canada, Community Foundations of Canada, United Way Centraide Canada, The Philanthropic Foundations of Canada, Volunteer Canada and the Bhayana Family Foundation.

The CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce has endorsed this advocacy. We have also gained support from other organizations including TD Bank Capacity Canada Definity Insurance Foundation, Inspirit Foundation, Laidlaw Foundation and YWCA amongst many others.
