[News] Route65.ca to be retired effective April 1, 2026
After careful consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to retire the Route65.ca directory, effective April 1, 2026.
Since its launch in 2019, Route65.ca has helped connect seniors and families with long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and home health providers across B.C. The Route65.ca platform has provided value over the years helping the public easily navigate British Columbia’s seniors’ living, wellness and care continuum through accessible and centralized information. For members, it has served as a provincial visibility and connection tool, supporting public awareness of available services, referral pathways, and informed decision making, and we are incredibly grateful to the members and partners who have contributed to its success.
As the Association’s priorities evolve, the Board has chosen to focus resources on initiatives that more directly support our members and their service delivery needs.
“Removing Route65.ca is a necessary step in ensuring that the Association continues to invest in the tools and initiatives that truly support our members,” says BCCPA Board Member Danny Birch (Co-Founder and CEO of Hero Home Care).
This decision reflects a strategic shift in how BCCPA supports the sector. The Route65.ca platform has provided value over the years, and we are incredibly grateful to the members and partners who have contributed to its success.
The phone line has been decommissioned, however the website and contact form will remain available until April 1, 2026. Our team will be in touch with account managers in the coming weeks to support this transition.
Thank you for your continued trust and engagement. We look forward to better focus on priorities that matter most to our members.
