[Recruiting] Office of Seniors Advocate Survey Testers Needed

news image

The Office of Seniors Advocate is developing new questions to include in an upcoming survey about seniors’ experiences related to income and affordability in BC. They are seeking seniors aged 65 years and older who receive the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) and the BC Senior’s Supplement (a monthly provincial top-up payment to GIS) to provide input on a new survey about seniors’ experiences related to income and affordability in BC.

If selected to participate, individuals will receive a link to the online survey by email and be asked to complete it. This will be followed by an interview where they will be asked questions about the questions”, such as, “Do the survey questions make sense?”, “Do the questions cover topics that are important to you?”, and “Are the questions easy to answer?” The purpose of the interview is to test the questions, not the participant!

Interviews take place by video conference (using MS Teams) and will take between 60-90 minutes. Those who participate in an interview will receive a $50 Save-On Foods grocery gift card as a token of appreciation for their time. Participation is completely voluntary, and any information provided to us will be kept confidential in accordance with BC’s privacy protection requirements.

Attached is a poster you can put up on a bulletin board.

Interested participants need to contact the BC Office of Patient Centred Measurement directly by email (info.bcpcm@phc.ca) or phone (604-806-9401).
