[Course] Foundational Skills for the Substance Use, Treatment, and Recovery Workforce

The BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) has launched a new, free online course to build foundational knowledge and skills for working in substance use treatment and recovery services across British Columbia.

Foundational Skills for the Substance Use, Treatment, and Recovery Workforce is a new, free self-paced online course from the BC Centre on Substance Use.

The course introduces best practices for providing non-stigmatizing, trauma-informed, culturally safe, humble, and compassionate care for people who use substances and are seeking recovery.

This beginner-friendly course is open to anyone who interacts with people who use substances and is especially valuable for non-clinical staff working in substance use treatment and recovery settings, offering 10 hours of CACCF Continuing Education Units upon completion.
