resource image

On Dec 11, 2025 Federal Policing Prevention and Engagement (FPPE) in Pacific Region presented on current scam trends affecting seniors. The webinar was NOT recorded, however, the speaker has shared a link and summary documents of what was covered during the presentation (attachments below).

Across the country, older adults are increasingly falling victim to sophisticated tactics used by organized crime groups. This session explored the methods these groups use to reach potential victims and deceptive practices they employ to defraud them. As service providers, the insights you gain will help you recognize seniors who may be at risk and understand the steps you can take to support them.

Guest Speaker: Vinh Ngo, Federal Policing Prevention and Engagement (FPPE) in Pacific Region, RCMP
