Foodrescue.ca for food programs
FoodRescue.ca is the creation of Second Harvest, Canada's largest food rescue organization. Their service is a free and easy way for food businesses and non-profit organizations to connect, schedule and track food donations. They take a local approach, giving food donors a simple and fast system to connect directly with social service programs in local communities. Organizations are assisted to find and use rescued food in their area, which offsets program costs and has positive environmental impacts. They have also shared a variety of useful food-related resources on their webpage.
