[Handbook] Navigation and Peer Support
Navigation and Peer Support (NPS) helps older adults find, understand and access information, services and supports that can help them remain independent and connected in their communities. As a Better at Home service, it is important for service providers to understand what NPS encompasses.
This new handbook has been specifically drafted for Navigators, who provide critical supports that help individuals to meet the determinants of healthy aging. It serves as a comprehensive overview of Navigation and Peer Support programs, and can act as a training guide for Navigators and the agencies supporting them.
