Description / Summary

“Kamloops and area adults enjoying diverse lifelong learning is our mission.” Research shows that participation in continuous learning adds to quality of life, supports good health in mind, body and spirit and provides a forum for sharing knowledge and ideas. Experts from all aspects of life volunteer to share knowledge and keep you stimulated and engaged. 

The Kamloops Adult Learners Society (KALS) is a registered non-profit society founded in 2005. KALS offers many interesting courses led by instructors from the business community, the health community and TRU. Most of their courses now are on Zoom, but they are looking forward to again providing in-person courses which have been held at the North Shore Community Centre. 

KALS offers a variety of courses such as Aging Well - Prevent Your Risk of Falling,Printmaking, Tax Planning Strategies for Retirees, and many more.
