[Recording] Leveraging Partnerships and Networks in Social Prescribing
United Way BC and the Canadian Alliance for Social Connection and Health are thrilled to introduce "Conversations on Social Prescribing," a four-part webinar series dedicated to advancing Social Prescribing in British Columbia. Designed for community-based seniors’ services, healthcare professionals, policy makers, and community organizers, each session will offer valuable insights, real-world case studies, and practical strategies to enhance client care and community well-being.
The second webinar in this series, Leveraging Partnerships and Networks in Social Prescribing, took place on April 28th, 2025 at 11:00 AM Pacific Time. We heard from the health care system and community on how to build partnerships and collaborate with community to support social prescribing.
Presenters:
- Jade Hamilton, NexusBC Community Resource Centre
- Cora Leschert, Nanaimo Family Life Association
- Dr. Grace Park, Fraser Health Authority
