resource image

The BCCDC released the Food Costing in BC 2022: Assessing the affordability of healthy eating report. The report highlights the challenges of affording a nutritious diet for people and households who live on low incomes, especially for those who live on income and disability assistance. They created an infographic, The Affordability of Healthy Eating in BC that highlights the information in the report as well as information on solutions and actions.

Please get in touch with Margaret Broughton at 604-813-5238 or email margaret.broughton@vch.ca if you would like to discuss the report findings further.
