[Resource] BC Bereavement Helpline

Grief can be complex, especially following sudden, traumatic, or life-altering loss. It does not follow a timeline, and it can resurface during holidays, transitions, and new beginnings. BC Bereavement Helpline offers free, confidential, and compassionate support to individuals and families across British Columbia, including:

  • Free and confidential grief helpline support and resource referrals
  • Traumatic Loss Facilitator Training (TLFT) for professionals, volunteers, community leaders and those interested in starting their own support groups
  • Educational learning opportunities, including public and private grief-related training and webinars
  • 8-week, trauma-informed Closed Support Groups for individuals grieving: suicide loss, homicide loss, toxic drug poisoning loss, or pet loss
