On January 27th, 2021, the CBSS Provincial Working Group on Seniors Transportation hosted this webinar to introduce the new working group, discuss the seniors-centred approach it will bring to its work, and its plans for improving seniors mobility in BC over the next two years. Sandra Phillips from movmi introduced ‘the user-journey approach’ to solving seniors transportation issues and an expert panel on carpooling services spoke to advances in the provision of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for older adults. This webinar allowed participants to engage with the newest CBSS Provincial Working Group just as it gets under way.
