resource image

The Dieticians of Canada have developed “Healthy Eating While Spending Less” guidelines and have made adapted versions for different cultural groups, including South Asian, Latin Americans, Chinese, and African and Caribbean, as well as in different languages (i.e., French, Spanish, Chinese, Punjabi, and Hindi). See attached documents.

These guidelines are for individuals (e.g., seniors) to use; they include tips of planning, shopping, cooking, storing, etc. in ways that will save money, which can lead to increased food security
