The Stigma-Free Society is a Canadian Charity registered since 2010 and our mission is to reduce the stigma around mental health. In rural and agricultural communities across North America, there is a mental health crisis due to the lack of resources that exist, and the stigma discourages people from getting help. We have created this Rural Mental Wellness Toolkit to provide resources for individuals living in agricultural and rural communities.

You will find engaging resources for audiences including youth, families and seniors. The Inspiring Stories for You section showcases videos of rural residents who open up the conversation around mental health and stigma. A Peer Support Worker Training Program will be offered in the upcoming months for people living in rural communities.
