[Webinar Recording] Anticipatory Grief

Many individuals would prefer to spend their final days at home, rather than in hospital. Services are put in place to help the client. We build a relationship with that person and start on their journey with them.
Anticipatory grief is an experience of expected loss. It starts when they receive an end of life diagnosis. It is the place between hope, worry and fear: not knowing what to expect when you visit the client.
This presentation will address the changes and skills to help you as the service provider or caregiver as their health decreases. Self-care is important as there is no set pattern or trajectory as changes keep occurring.
This webinar is the first of a three part series of webinars on grief and bereavement for the community-based seniors' services sector.
