CAGP-CCSMH 2023: Annual Scientific Meeting - Call for Abstracts

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!

The theme of this year’s meeting is: “Addressing Complexity in Seniors’ Mental Health.”

We are thrilled to announce that the 2023 ASM will be held in St. John’s, Newfoundland, from September 29-30, 2023. We are excited to be heading to another sensational setting to learn, share and network with our colleagues from across the country!

We encourage submissions that relate to the theme of the conference, particularly those that highlight new or emerging topics, research, or programming. Topics that are particularly relevant include diagnosis of complexities, treatment approaches including psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, brain stimulation and the use of psychedelics, and approaches to addressing and supporting social complexities such as homelessness, poverty, loneliness and isolation. Further, we encourage submissions with a focus on diverse gender and sexual identities, Indigenous health, cultural safety, anti-racism, disability, and other underrepresented topics related to vulnerabilities/inequities in older adult mental health care. Multidisciplinary perspectives and content that is geared toward trainees are welcome as always!

We invite you to participate and welcome abstract submissions from across the country and from all disciplines. We hope you will join us at the preeminent meeting for seniors’ mental health in Canada.
