[Event] Ignite Volunteerism: Being the Change in your Community

Join Volunteer Canada on April 23 from 12:30–2PM (EST) for this year’s National Volunteer Week Online Celebration. 2026 is International Year of the Volunteer and we’re celebrating with a year long campaign – Ignite Volunteerism – that celebrates, recognizes, and inspires acts of volunteering from coast to coast to coast.

This year, we’re pleased to have Senator Farah Mohamed sharing her insights related to volunteering in Canada and beyond.

Senator Mohamed will be joined by two 2024 Canada Volunteer Award recipients, Udlu Hanson and Priscilla Ojomu, who will share their stories of volunteering and advocating for social justice, inclusion, and their communities' most pressing needs.
