[Webinar] Next Steps in Advancing Social Prescribing

United Way BC and the Canadian Alliance for Social Connection and Health are thrilled to introduce "Conversations on Social Prescribing," a four-part webinar series dedicated to advancing Social Prescribing in British Columbia. Designed for community-based seniors’ services, healthcare professionals, policy makers, and community organizers, each session will offer valuable insights, real-world case studies, and practical strategies to enhance client care and community well-being. Join us from March to June 2025 to engage with experts and collaborate on transforming healthcare through innovative Social Prescribing initiatives.
The first webinar in this series, Next Steps in Advancing Social Prescribing, will take place on March 19th, 2025 (Social Prescribing Day) at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Join us to learn about the findings of recent research on what is needed to promote the implementation of social prescribing in Canada. Safiya Clarke-Mendes from the Canadian Institute of Social Prescribing will present on the findings of the Social Prescribing Training Needs and Opportunities in Canada Survey. Dr. Kiffer Card from the Canadian Alliance for Social Connection and Health will present on “What is Needed to Promote the Uptake and Implementation of Social Prescribing."
