TRAIN THE TRAINER SENSITIVITY TRAINING for YOUTH & OLDER ADULTS
3-hour Workshop
You will experience first-hand how to train the youth and seniors in your intergenerational programs or projects to better understand and connect with each other in respectful and appropriate ways. Previous attendees have reported that what they learned helped them in their own interactions with youth and older adults.
OBJECTIVES:
· Learn how to facilitate sensitivity training for youth
· Personally experience the “Instant Aging” kit for youth
· Learn how to facilitate sensitivity training for older adults
· Understand how to customize the training for both youth and older adults based on the age of youth and the environment of the older adults
Activities included in the training:
· Instant aging experience
· Losses activity
· Processing-skills activity
Cost of 3-hour course is $100. Included are the PowerPoint slides and training guide.
