[Webinar] Intersectoral Engagement in Health Emergency Management for Older Adults with Complex Care Needs in the Community: From Research to Practice

Drawing on case studies of Chilliwack and New Westminster emergency events in 2021, research findings will be presented on promising practices for intersectoral engagement and collaboration. This study was conducted by researchers and practitioners at Fraser Health, Simon Fraser University and United Way BC. A panel of speakers representing emergency management, health services, and the social service sector will reflect on these promising practices alongside opportunity for participants to share their experiences, insights, and questions.

This session is designed for professionals and organizations across health, emergency management, municipal, and community sectors, and will emphasize real-world applicability, shared learning, and discussion.
