[Workshop] SFU BREATHE x SFU CERi Train the Trainer Workshop

Come build your own FREE air cleaner at SFU BREATHE x SFU CERi's Train the Trainer workshop!
The SFU BREATHE Project is a climate resiliency project that teaches people how to make do-it-yourself (DIY) air cleaners to improve their indoor air quality during wildfire smoke events. These workshops are targeted towards populations at higher risk of poor health outcomes during wildfire smoke events such as older adults, pregnant women, families with young children, and people with pre-existing lung and heart conditions. These air cleaners work to filter out other particulate matter such as traffic-related air pollution, dust, pet dander, mould, bacteria, and viruses including COVID-19.
This Train-the-Trainer session is an opportunity to learn from the BREATHE team the science behind the air cleaner, and how to host your own workshop. You will have an opportunity to build your own air cleaner and ask the team questions you have regarding building, the workshop process, and other environmental health concerns you may have. The workshop is free to attend and should take no more than two hours.
