Recorded Webinar: Enhancing Cultural Competency for Community Organizations
On July 7, 2020, the Intercultural Working Group (under the CBSS Leadership Council hosted by the United Way of Lower Mainland) hosted this webinar to give an overview of the Intercultural Working group mandate and current work and to introduce the new Multicultural Supports for Older Adults group on Healthy Aging CORE. This new group shares culturally relevant resources aimed at supporting the healthy aging of culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse older adults.
The webinar also introduced a new Intercultural Toolkit and Checklist (which can be found here) that provides a step-by-step approach to help community organizations enhance the level of cultural competency and relevancy of their organization or their individual programs.
